Meet Pathé and Hadja. And their sweet baby girl. I met Pathé for the first time in 2012 when I went to Guinea with my husband, Abdoulaye, to meet his family. Abdoulaye and Pathé grew up across the street from one another and their families are still neighbors. Hadja and Pathé got married early last year and recently welcomed their sweet daughter, Aicha, to the world this past January.  They came down to visit us from NYC and we had a great week together visiting my family in Virginia Beach, VA and then hanging around Hyattsville, MD. We went to our first NCAA women's college basketball game (go Terps!) and they toured the Mall to see the cherry blossoms. What I love about visits like theirs is the opportunity to not only spend quality time together but to share our day to day lives with one another. Also, with each of our baby girls (mine is 16 months and theirs is just over two months old), it's hard to make concrete plans on the town!  One thing that was a priority on our to-do list (at list, mine!) was to do a family session. Here are some of my favorites!
