IFC Vitae
Career Guidance Videos
I collaborated with IFC Vitae, an innovation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), to script and develop 10 mini-videos (~90 seconds each) on key career guidance topics, such as personal branding, interview preparation, and salary negotiation, tailored for students in Francophone Africa. The project aimed to provide students with accessible, high-impact career advice while demonstrating to higher education institutions how they could create their own digital, asynchronous content with limited resources.
I drafted the scripts in English, ensuring they were structured, engaging, and aligned with best practices in career development. The content was then translated and adapted into French to reflect the regional labor market and cultural context. In addition to script development, I advised on the production process, ensuring that the final videos were visually engaging, accessible, and aligned with the intended learning outcomes. I also contributed to a set of complementary career resources to support students’ job search efforts.
As a result, the videos and resources offered a scalable, cost-effective model for career guidance, equipping students with practical strategies to navigate the job market while inspiring institutions to expand their digital career services.
