UNESCO TVET

Career Guidance Review

I led the development of a comprehensive career guidance review for UNESCO, assessing the effectiveness of career services within Jordan’s TVET sector. The project’s core objectives included analyzing existing career guidance frameworks, identifying gaps, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance service delivery and student outcomes.

To achieve this, I conducted an in-depth document review, synthesizing insights from policy reports, institutional frameworks, and global best practices. I also designed and administered stakeholder interviews, gathering qualitative data from educators, policymakers, and industry leaders to ensure a holistic understanding of the system’s strengths and challenges. The final report outlined key findings, including gaps in employer engagement and career readiness resources, and proposed evidence-based recommendations for improving guidance services.

As a result, the report provided UNESCO and the Ministry of Education with actionable strategies to strengthen career guidance programs, better align training with labor market needs, and enhance employment outcomes for TVET students.
